Here's what we were working with - overgrown shrubs crowding the foundation, damaged edging that had shifted and sunk over the years, and rock beds that were tired and thin. For a property with tenants coming and going every day, that kind of worn-down curb appeal adds up fast. It sends the wrong message before anyone even walks through the door.
We started by lifting and resetting the existing edging around the beds, then replaced the sections that were too far gone to salvage. Getting the edging right is the foundation of everything else - if it's not set properly, nothing looks clean no matter how much material you bring in. Once that was dialed in, we pulled the overgrown shrubs that had taken over the front beds and were starting to cover windows.
With the shrubs out and the edging reset, we brought in decorative boulders to fill the space and add some structure. Then came nearly 15 yards of fresh river rock to top everything off. That's a lot of material to move and spread evenly across a property this size, but the crew knocked it out and the difference is night and day.
What you end up with is a clean, low-maintenance landscape that actually holds up. River rock doesn't need trimming, it doesn't die off in a drought, and it keeps the beds looking sharp season after season. For a property manager or landlord, that's a real win - less ongoing maintenance, better curb appeal, and a more polished look for current and future tenants.
This is the kind of work we do a lot of - commercial properties that need a practical landscaping solution, not just something that looks good for a week. If you've got a property in the Roberts area with beds that have seen better days, this is exactly the type of job we're set up to handle.
